1. What do you do here?

I’m on the air Middays 10am-2pm Mon-Fri

Saturdays 10am to 3pm

 

2. How did you get into radio?

I managed to become friends with a radio personality through my rock n roll band and he invited me to the station one day....I hung out there enough until one Saturday afternoon the program director of the Country station needed someone in a hurry....I was in the right place at the right time.....

 

3. Who are your favorite groups or artists?

 

My favorite groups are Lonestar, Blackhawk, Rascal Flatts, Lady A, Zac Brown Band and Diamond Rio and my favorite artists are...Miranda Lambert! George Strait, Alan Jackson, Patty Loveless, Tim and Faith, Easton Corbin, Billy Currington, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Trisha Yearwood, Reba...and I know I'm leaving out a few like Taylor Swift, Blake and Brad!!

 

4. Have you met anyone famous?

Tim McGraw 4 times!!..Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, Trisha Yearwood, Kenny Chesney, John Michael Montgomery, Collin Raye, Vince Gill, The Dixie Chicks, Kenny Rodgers, Tanya Tucker, Patty Loveless, Toby Keith, Trace Atkins, Neil McCoy, The Judds, Jodee Messina 3 times!...even The Beach Boys twice and James Taylor twice.....so many more country artists when I was in Nashville like Dwight Yoakum and Billy Ray Cyrus!

 

5. Do you play a musical instrument?

 

I play bass guitar and the drums....I have a set of electronic drums too! At least I can practice and nobody can hear me banging away with my headphones on!! pretty kool!

 

6. What are your hobbies outside the radio station?

I love to fly! I'm an FAA licenced pilot and former aircraft owner, a Piper Archer 4 place single engine airplane...pic's on my Facebook....

 

7. What are your favorite movies?

 

Da Godfather and most of whatever Dustin Hoffman is in...the Graduate and Tootsie...just a great actor! 

 

8. Your favorite TV shows?

America Idol, especially when it gets down to the finals! Centerstage on YES network, Seinfeld and Raymond....pretty funny shows!

Ice Road Truckers, CMT, MLB Network and the Food Network

9. What sports teams do you root for?

 

New York Yankees and The New York Football Giants
